How to use mesonh2obs ?

mesonh2obs allows to interpolate MesoNH fields at given points (such as points where observation data are available). The input file are : The output ASCII file contains lines with the same format, one of the following according to the option:
lon lat model level altitude(m) option LLHV
lat lon model level altitude(m) option llhv
lon lat altitude(m) option LLZV
lat lon altitude(m) option llzv
lon lat pression(hPa) option LLPV
lat lon pression(hPa) option llpv

mesonh2obs is an interactive tool. All the directives you enter on the keyboard are registered in the file dirmnh2obs. You can use it as input for the next call of the tool after being renamed.

The wind components are transformed into zonal and meridian components in the observation grid.
